EL PLAN

El Plan was an absolute utter complete ... success!! Last night was flawless. Well, actually we spent the whole entire show being very angry and not enjoying ourselves (the T's were super fun tho) , but the aftershow was perfect. Let me lay out a simple timeline of the past few months for you:
We liked him because of his music
We liked his music
We liked him way more than his music
We stopped liking his music
We stopped liking him because of his music
We stopped liking anything to do with him or his music
We started liking him because of ... him.
With the last point being last night. I think I actually like the kid. Cuz that's all he is. A normal kid who happens to have an amazing job. So, instead of venting all our frustration towards his awful cocky, rock star behavior, we ended up having a good conversation , but still holding our ground and telling him what we really thought of his (cop-out) music.
Can you hang on a second? There's still a lotta girls hanging around him wanting pictures and autographs.
I'm really sorry about that. It takes him forever to get away
Let's take a walk. 3 hippie looking kids walk downtown at midnight.
I am so tired... Ya know, it wears you out. He vents to us after having 200 meaningless snipet conversations with people he doesn't know.
I'm gonna think about what you said. He respects our thoughts on music.
Names aren't as important as the relationship, the connection. We've actually had conversations with substance. It's time to start on a fresh page.
"I'm Crystal." "I'm William" "It's nice to meet you."

A Day In The Life

Wow, I really haven't been on here in forever. I have been
- Making subs. Yay for money!
- Getting super retro cool stuff for my *house*
- Painting a $4 desk up with stuff from The Beatles Yellow Submarine
- Watching and rewatching (and drooling over) videos of The Door and The Rolling Stones
- Getting free posters of Mick (oh yeah, and the rest of the Stones) from nice guys at tiny hole-in-the-wall record stores
- Planning for El Plan
- Re-evaluating my awful wardrobe and basing my style from now onMick and Keith in the late 60's and early 70's with a little Jimi Hendrix mixed in (a.k.a. wearing whatever I like)
- Seeing how much I need to think for myself
- Obsessively listening to Oldies
- Being very depressed that I wasn't alive during the greatest years of rock and roll
- Applying for loans for school
- Wishing I had the poetry of Jim Morrison and the gusto of Ray
Yeah, I'll stop now. I can see myself going into a loooong rant on how people today aren't deep and people like Jim aren't around and how I want to surround myself with people of art, intellect, creativity and free thinking. But they are next to impossible to find... Ok, I'm really stopping now...
