!Quote of the Week!

Me: "I need new hubcaps, too. I've been missing one since I lived over on Knox."
Dad: "Somebody probably stole it out there."
Me: "Yeah, it was the ghetto."
Dad: "Somebody's probably wearing it on a chain around their neck."

Hurray!!

Crystal was then officially done with finals and on Christmas break for a month!

And there was much rejoicing in the kingdom. (Don't you love how that sentence always ends with a . and not a ! ? It sounds like the kingdom was so bored.)

I <3 Happy Shawn

So. Wednesday night. Shawn Harris and Co. + me and Katelin = the best night in a looong time!!! I laaaaaav them soooo much!!!!
Quick recap:
> Seriously, only us and this group of like 5 preteens next to us were singing along. Obviously the only ones there for them. Sad, but glad, cuz that means they aren't going to explode, a la William Beckett
> Opened with Shoot Me In The Smile
> Played Drive, Papercut Skin, Little Maggots, What Katie Said, Decomposer and, off E. Vohn Dahl, Chain Me Free and Sick Little Suicide
> So yeah, short set. Like 1/2 hr. I was sad, but Adrian was fab, so I was ok.
> He had on these shoes (that he got in London, he told me) that were like white and shiny and looked really old, like from the 1800's or something. Love!
> Katelin said his hair looked a little like Gene Wilder :(
> He is hanging around the bar during +44 and the preteens are flocking around him, then he leaves them, walks past us and stops -midwalk, mind you- smiles at us, brushes my arm and says hi. AHHH!!! I almost collapsed into a melty heap on the "dirty dirt hole" floor.
> Asks our names before another preteen (with her mom, no less!) tears him away from me. He later comes BACK over and says "Crystal, right?" DEATH. DYING. I can't handle this.
> He goes away for another second and comes back and pokes me and I jump and he laughs and makes the noise from track 10!! Ahhh!
> Time for pictures ... "Oh let's do something fun" ... He grabs me and starts dancing, complete with spins

> Then, "Oh you gotta come meet our merch girl. You remind me of one of my good friends." Drags me over to meet the merch girl, who confirms this. "You look like her, and your mannerisms, too. It's a good thing." ::insert him smiling::
> So, then we say bye, and tho my back is to him, Katelin can see him talking to other people and says he keeps looking over at us and smiling. AHHH!!! I can't handle his!! I NEED my Ahn-hay-la. We are The Power Duo of All Shows.

So, that is the tale of my current happiness. I love him more than I even remembered! However, NOTHING will EVER compete to the time we 1st saw him at the Newport... No words. There are no word. "Speechless. I am without speech."

Eeeek! :)
